CONSTRUCTION OF RIVER TRAINING WORKS AT RIVER INDUS

SIR AGA KHAN JHIRK MULLAH KATIYAR BRIDGE

The main bridge on river indus has been completed along with the approach roads.  The project has been opened for traffic in February 2017.  However, the river training works could not be started due to various reasons and court order.  Almost 40 percent of the river training works which includes Construction of Guide Bank, Construction of Apron and Spur has been completed and while 60 percent work is still remaining which has been held up for want of clearance of High Court of Sindh and subsequent handing over of land for starting the work.  Total cost of River Training Works is 558 Millions

ROAD 5TH AVENUE TO T-JUNCTION 

The improvement of main Hawksbay Road 5th Avenue to T-Junction was taken up by Lyari Development Authority, Govt. of Sindh. The project delayed for want of release of funds from Govt. of Sindh.  Total cost of the road is Rs. 557 Millions. About 52 percent of work has been completed at site and while other activities are in progress.
